Acrylic is a beautiful, highly translucent premium material, but it is also delicate. Accidentally scraping it with rough surfaces or using the wrong household chemicals can permanently ruin its smooth, glossy finish.

The Golden Rule: Use Only Pure Water and a Soft Cloth
You do not need to buy expensive, specialized chemical cleaning solutions to keep your LED board completely spotless. In fact, the safest, most effective method requires just two everyday items that you likely already have at home:
A Clean Microfiber Cloth
Always use a clean, ultra-soft microfiber cloth. Standard paper towels, kitchen napkins, or facial tissues might feel soft to your hands, but their rigid fibers can leave tiny, microscopic scratches on the acrylic surface over time.
These small scratches will cause the LED backlight to scatter, making your screen look blurry or cloudy.
Pure Water
For regular daily cleaning, a completely dry microfiber cloth is usually enough to wipe away fresh liquid chalk ink.
If the ink has been left on the board for a long time and feels a bit stubborn, simply dampen a small corner of your soft cloth with a little bit of clean water.
Gently wipe the board using light circular motions, then use the dry side of the cloth to buff it back to a beautiful, streak-free shine.
